You gotta lock in. You gotta get on that grindset. You gotta produce that content. You gotta lock in.

The way you draw expressions and the way you use colors is honestly mesmerizing. You are really, really, really good at this.

Tezcatara being the most mommy-coded Ancient and most of her relics being fucking ass is racist against me, personally.

The haunted doll you found in the closet can make you dress exactly like it and have accidents in your diapers if you want, but mostly, it just wants you to go to Home Depot and buy one of those step stools with wheels so it can get to the coffee machine in the morning.

They're gonna go public at some point, I don't see how it does anything but get dramatically worse from that point on. They'll do something that breaks the camel's back (probably just ramping up the monetization and the bans) and people will abandon it en masse for fluxer, or another program.

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

Oh, I'm sure Discord will present people with plenty of opportunities to do so in the coming months.

Every season of Digimon that I watched fell victim to "only red and blue matter" to at least some extent, but man did it hit Frontier like a ton of bricks. Sick show, though. Also after the first three Digimon all had the same theme, this one just had a totally original one that fuckin' rocked?

That's normal. It means your brain is spotting the flaws in your old work and wants to improve.

In a perfect world where money wasn't part of the equation, do you think you'd still work in a serialized format or would you only release a story once it was fully done?

110

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Yeah, my writing tends to get away from me in the same way too. I often wonder if it's best to approach length from "have a consistent word count per chapter to set expectations" or "write whatever it takes to tell the correct amount of story, variance of a couple thousands words isn't a big deal."

110

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 14/07/2026

Do you have a preferred length by word count for an individual chapter or one-off story and how do you keep to that length?

Discord is going to be making an IPO in three months and you've all seen the things they've done and are doing to prepare for that. It's highly unlikely that the program is going to either get better or stop getting worse. You probably want to start making contingencies' right now.

I dunno what she made, if she got a cut of anything. But there's simply too much money to be made from more Digital Circus for it to be entirely gone, and she deserves a big, big slice of that pie.

Gun to my head, on June 27th, 2026, I do not believe Gooseworx has written her last word in The Amazing Digital Circus. 1) I just didn't get the vibe of somebody who said everything they had to say from the ending. 2) Shit walks, money talks. Offer her some'a that Last Act box office, Glitch.

Y'know how in a lot of video games, your character injects a healing item into their shoulder or whatever and it heals them up. And in the lore, it's medical foam or nanobots or something? Imagine that, but for a diaper. Somebody pops the injector into your diaper and bam, twice as thick.

New Vampires have to be trained to suppress their instinct to bite everything in sight. The conversion process also typically strips away their potty training. So it's quite common for new members of a Vampire family to have a pacifier in their mouth and a diaper around their hips at all times.

How do you deal with stuff like overthinking overplotting, getting hung up on small details and just focus on writing?

110

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

These two really need a safe word.

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

Yeah, she said it's called "externalization", it creates a layer of abstraction between you and the negative thoughts. Seems like a useful technique for a lot of stuff!

011

DramaPajamas @dramapajamasdp.bsky.social · 30/05/2026

I googled "how to stop overthinking while plotting" and I'm just going through the results and one of the pieces of advice blew my fucking mind. Give your inner critic a name, so when you're overthinking, you can address your thoughts by name and tell them to SHUT UP. That's fucking brilliant.
