Let this be a lesson though that even as experienced security professional can experience lapses in judgment in the simplest ways. Always second guess any installation that someone asks you to perform via Discord. One person being hacked can immediately lead to multiple others.

Light cardio with some strength excersizes focused on the body parts most out of shape is what I started doing several weeks ago. So that was generally 15-30 minutes of treadmill jogs/sprints, then 10-15 of sit ups, pull ups, or weights. 5 minute breaks between rotations.

That's still the core of my issue with Wilds. They ditched the slow methodical combat style and decided to turn the game into a power fantasy. The result is a need to tune monsters into instant kill machines.

It's the only Monster Hunter I've played that I wouldn't want to boot up and play again right now, and I can't point to any single thing (aside from thinking Focus Mode is fundamentally destructive to the combat) but a lot of it comes down to "turns out the clunk was load-bearing"
