I need to make money to pay bills before my unemployment kicks in after being laid off. Any chance anyone would like a custom collar tag like these for 30? I can do glow in the dark and metallic on different parts and take care to make it custom for you. Comment if interested! #furry #furryartist

Welp I got laid off of my job of almost 10 years and had two interviews for a job scrubbing toilets and still got rejected. Had to cancel all of my cons for this year. I don’t think I’ve ever been this depressed. It’s hard to believe my life isn’t just over now. I feel like the biggest failure ever.

It’s weird how people will form increasing expectations of you just because you’re nice to them

Keeping this up for a little bit longer. Probably until the con this weekend. I don't have the time to make more so I can't do LSFC delivery, but currently on sale for $40, and will order the materials this weekend. Delivery in 2-3 weeks! www.firefoxtales.com/store-1/p/te...

I wish you didn’t have to. But it’s okay to not feel okay. You should feel whatever way you need to, even if you feel like a mess. You’re entitled to grief, and nobody should expect you to have it together.

Meeting you at TFF was really one of my first experiences meeting up with someone in the fandom I’d been talking to online, and you really set my expectations for that. You were truly so bright and welcoming and showed me the best part of what people can be. I wish we had crossed paths more.

What’s your favorite shark species? Mine is definitely the blacktip reef shark. It’s not the most interesting or special looking one out there but I somehow really like them.

Illustration of two blacktip reef sharks. on top is the water surface and on the bottom the sea ground with corals, yellow fishes and a giant clam, all of these can be found around fiji islands

Then you can put them in a scrapbook and have scrapbook pages of all of the cons you’ve been too! You could put your con badge, plane tickets, or anything like that. And it’s a wonderful piece of physical media for your furry home. I would really love to see this catch on

🌈Lagoon⛈️ @dragonsapphic.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

Not suuure when I’ll sit down and make it happen (feel free to steal) but I’ve had this idea for a Sunday panel at cons where scrapbook papers and con theme-relevant stickers are provided, maybe even a way to print photos? And you sit and make a little scrapbook page of con memories

Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.
