It really loves arguing with itself over the every Pokémon vs a billion lions debate every time you refresh your search because it will pick a different argument from the Reddit thread to highlight each time.

No one question Chicken Little on the GameCube ok that was one of my first ever gaming experiences.

I love BDSP sm. It could have more platinum features, but honestly it’s my preferred way of playing the Diamond/Pearl story. QOL features and none of the gen 4 slowness is enough reason to enjoy it (saying that as a lover of gen 4 and its glitches too).

I haven’t sewn in a couple weeks because the last time I used its machine it sounded bad and I finally stopped procrastinating and gave it a good clean and oil and ooooo it’s so much nicer now

It is 100% easier. I have modded 3 3DSes (and will mod a fourth if I can fix what’s wrong with it) and they felt like liesurely afternoon activity but modding a Wii felt like defusing a bomb lol. I’m so scared of bricking stuff lol

Yeah totally fair and sucks about your disc drive. I modded my Wii in part because my sister has our childhood Wii and all the games but My Pokémon Ranch: Platinum was the reason I was like ok yeah. We’re doing this lol

Once you realize you can walk off a ledge the same frame you press inventory in a game where every ledge is different thanks to discrepancies between the art and the hitboxes, all of a sudden pressing A after hearing 6 evenly-spaced beeps is so easy

Nyx 💜 @dragonnyx.com · 17/09/2026

I’d like to thank Hollow Knight 1432-1.5 inventory drops for teaching me how to perform frame perfect inputs because it makes me feel like a god when I hit my Pokemon RNG manips first try

friendly reminder i have an online shop and sell lots of bird stickers

a sticker design of a crow with green fairy wings and a green star on it's chest

a sticker design of two male cardinals with a pride heart in between them (they're gay)

a sticker design of a white throated sparrow between two yellow stars.

a sticker sheet design of four nuthatches, the top left and bottom right being white breasted and the top right and bottom left being red breasted! they all have a shooting star design around them.

I’m so tired and dumb I didn’t mention in the post that this timer is counting down to Pokémon Bank’s demise

000

Nyx 💜 @dragonnyx.com · 25/08/2026

I plan on coming back and adding/fixing some stuff but at the bare minimum it should be functional! If it's not let me know. I don't typically do this sort of thing and it was just a little challenge/project to occupy myself after work but I'm always looking to learn more and more

000

Nyx 💜 @dragonnyx.com · 25/08/2026

It's still very much a work in progress but I made a countdown that could be used as a browser source in OBS designed to look like the unused stopwatch Pokétch app. To use: Add a Browser Source, size: 192x160, URL: olivine-lighthouse.nekoweb.org/banktimer.html

friday thoughts: I think it's important that shiny hunters be vocal about and continue to recommend accessible hunting options like emulation and/or flashcarts for newer folks looking to get into the hobby but think they are unable to due to the high cost of games/equipment they see most ppl use
