Scarlet Witch - Marvel Super Heroes I had the greatest pleasure to paint this Scarlet Witch in oils. I loved the possibility to put some poetry in the effects to give it some kind of an enchanting feel. This painting will be auctioned as soon as it is appropriate. #mtg #mtgmsh #marvel

I didn't think we needed more Toy Story movies, and now I'm convinced we don't need any more, but the writing in this was immaculate, probably my favorite going back at least as far as film 2 (twenty-six years ago) and possibly even 1. The moments of emotion feel well-earned and never syrupy. (100%)

@magalivilleneuve.bsky.social And another beautiful artwork, recognized on sight. Adventures in the Forgotten Realms! The sheer scale of the dragon leaps out at the viewer and fills the whole of its medium. Thank you for your wonderful talent. 🥰

I liked the new Star Wars movie, "The Mandalorian and Grogu," quite a lot. I never watched the show but never felt lost. The story was a bit thin, but 'unsophisticated' can still be fun, and even the "hey remember this from the movies" bits remained subtle and never insulted my intelligence. [90%]

Between "Super Mario Galaxy" and now "Mortal Kombat II," 2026 is turning into the year of video-game movie sequels I thought were leagues better than their predecessors.

Pokémon Pokopia's ending is one of the most heartwarming things I've ever seen. The art style also made me want a game in the vein of Paper Mario.

I cannot shake the feeling that after years of quality controversies, Pokémon Pokopia might have quietly saved the goodwill of the franchise. Here's to hoping Winds and Waves learns good lessons and carries that forward.

@skyloftsword.bsky.social I unlocked what I think is supposed to be Celadon. This game just keeps taking my breath away with every new discovery. I haven't felt that way to this extent about any game, even the best ones, in years.

Readily one of the strongest improvements of a sequel, and one of the best implementations of 4DX motion simulation, that I've seen in years, "Super Mario Galaxy" is an energetic mix of rambunctious, sometimes intense action and surprisingly heartfelt if random character/family dynamics. [95%]

@skyloftsword.bsky.social I've been sitting here for weeks honestly wondering if GTA 6 will even be legal for us to buy and play when it releases, or if it will get prohibited because of its subject matter (if I were Rockstar, I would threaten to cancel and cite that as cause - people would FLIP).

@llbroadwell.bsky.social At my workplace, we often adjust the BIOS settings of old computers, and each time, I'm reminded of our talks about user interfaces and design. The GUI-less BIOSes are very easy to navigate and load. The modern graphical ones have mouse support but are cumbersome and slow.

Back when Pokémon was originally new and I was still learning about it, I chose Bulbasaur because the manual had it listed as Pokédex entry #1. Piplup was my first non-Grass type starter, since previews of Empoleon (Water/Steel??) looked amazing. The adorable Fennekin is the lone Fire-type.

Pokémon starters, in order of generation:
Gen 1: Bulbasaur
Gen 2: Chikorita
Gen 3: Treecko for Sapphire, Mudkip for Emerald
Gen 4: Piplup! ♥ First time I ever chose a Water-type because Empoleon looked so cool (excellent decision in hindsight)
Gen 5: Snivy (Black 1), Oshawott (Black 2)
Gen 6: Fennekin! ♥
Gen 7: Popplio (Primarina's attack coverage was amazing)
Gen 8: Sobble
Gen 9: Ducklett
