But... he is the literal head of state for the UK and commonwealth countries such as Canada. He's even on our coinage. I'm not exactly a fan of the monarchy, but at least for now he is our head of state.

A comment I left to the person that scammed me. It says "you're a scammer and a thief. You impersonated someone in need and stole money intended for them. Enjoy your money. It only cost your soul."

Normalcy bias is a cognitive bias that leads people to underestimate the likelihood or impact of a disaster, causing them to believe that things will continue as normal despite warnings of potential threats. This bias often results in inadequate preparation for emergencies or crises.

also the railings on the promenade overview are totally climbable, not to mention they don't prevent anyone from just climbing through, so I guarantee they have like six kids falling every week
A photograph of the promenade in deep space nine, showing that I very poorly designed railing is installed above, very easy to climb and offering almost no resistance to any child that would want to simply push their body through the rails

aka normalcy bias
Screenshot of the Wikipedia article for normalcy bias. The text reads as follows.
Normalcy bias, or normality bias, is a cognitive bias which leads people to disbelieve or minimize threat warnings. Consequently, individuals underestimate the likelihood of a disaster, when it might affect them, and its potential adverse effects. The normalcy bias causes many people to prepare inadequately for natural disasters, market crashes, and calamities caused by human error. About 80% of people reportedly display normalcy bias during a disaster.
