I’m seeing a lot of comparisons of the #Wicked world to the US today, with The Wizard // The Donald, but I think he’s more of an Elon. He is all about clever tricks + taking credit for the work of others, while being admired for benevolence.

So, #Thanksgiving… I arrived into the U.S. as a refugee 30 yeasrs ago, on November 11th, with my mom and her father. So from the get go, Thanksgiving for us was a day of gratitude for being here. The supposed history of it seemed iffy, but we didn’t understand the details until later. (1/2)
