I’m really shocked and distressed at the news about Ann Widdecombe. She was a woman of deep faith who devoted her life to public service. The idea that she could have been murdered is truly horrifying. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and all who loved her.

Federal law enforcement agents shot and killed a man in Minneapolis on Jan. 24 according to local police officials. DHS told Fox News that the man was “armed with a gun”. One of the interesting parts of this book was that the iron axe head was as transformative for indigenous warfare (at least in Eastern North America) as the gun because they could easily breach the wooden palisades used in Native fortifications

If you're in the UK and want decent, free basic training in safeguarding then: 1) register an FA account 2) do all their online free courses for coaches/volunteers/committee members. Hell, last time i checked the full Welfare Officer course was only 20 quid. All certainlu better than nothing.

The Sopranos is probably the Rosetta Stone of modern American reaction: it consists of people who bemoan the loss of an imagined past they mainly got from movies, claim victimization based on identity but hate when others do it, and view the people who build the society they prey on as suckers.
