Or maybe vertical xpan will work better

What if xpan crop? Who cares if every platform will butcher it

More photo homework. Surprisingly tricky to pull off 😅

My one frustration is the way the drawers/bones work for 1st round, esp vs the challenge chips. For being a “ballatro-like” it’s one of the few that understands the synergy balance correctly to really come together

Been playing cloverpit (chefs kiss for the haptics and general juice) and cannot get a “increase number” run to hit But got the golden knob on the first try 😅

It makes me tear my eyes out whenever I’ve seen anti-DEI in my professional life. My brother in Christ… the number of solidly below mediocre white men who suck all the air out of the room drive me insane. And ANYONE (white or not) trying to do otherwise are ground to dust 🫠

FA being told by advertisers that the most mundane of art is just too risqué to work with should be a good indicator why trying making your fandom squeaky clean to appease people, who will never be happy, is a shitty idea

Art class is making me tired because almost the entire class is so timid about even trying anything 🫠 (prof and lessons are solid) Chase your favorite color Dance to your favorite band Show me what you’re obsessed about Median people pleasing art is what the AI slop machine is going to do

Furry art theory: you have to be in touch with your freak to make good art Spending time in normie creative circles is so draining because everyone is operating under 100 cringe locks to even attempt something good 🫠

For me… it kinda hits at the divergence between big-A Art culture and creating in ways that resonate with a digital audience The work is absolutely cool as hell I will be trying to see it live But idk how to make work that requires the read-in or time to enjoy that this demands

DozingUnicorn 🔜 AC @dozingunicorn.bsky.social · 30/09/2026

But Johnson’s work that informs my own was Sawdust Mountain (2009)… and his newest work doesn’t hit those Ratatouille spine tingles that I originally loved. I’m sure seeing the installations live is transcendent, but I’m a little underwhelmed in book form

First pass through Leviathan Rising (still need to listen to the tracks on headphones). It feels like a catalog of much bigger images. If you’re in the PNW and love abstract photography, this is gonna hit like lightning

I know it shouldn’t sting, but I wish “oh, I didn’t know artist released new stuff recently” didn’t quickly turn to: “oh, this isn’t for me” 🫠 None of it is bad work… but it’s like ordering the wrong dessert

I was enjoying Threads when it launched because it was originally using the “accounts you followed, and their likes” algorithm of old days As soon as “linger” views are weighed in… all of a sudden my feed is all libposts and dubious x-step guides

Our reorder arrived only during #EF30, and we did not sell out the first two issues of @yiffmagazine.bsky.social (a punky old-school mix of comics, essays, and illustrations) at the con. Therefore all three issues are now available again via mail order. 😎
