I was having more and more dreams where someone was trying to kill me, or my car crashed into a lake and I was drowning, or I fell off a cliff. I always woke with my heart pounding. For unrelated reasons I got a sleep study, was diagnosed with apnea, and got a CPAP machine. Now dreams are good.
