I’m not even going to try to claim we still support Ukraine. Trump has shifted US priorities and made his stance clear. At least NATO, which we still fund, still does. We are becoming more and more the ally with what we once opposed.

We have abandonded yet another ally. It grieves me that our elected President has chosen a Russian dictator over Ukraine and Zelenskyy. Trump has chosen authoritarianism over democracy yet again. This is a dark day for democracy in general and America specifically.

I get diplomatic immunity, and protecting our diplomats from reprisal from foreign governments. But when one crosses a line that is clearly illegal in both countries, should they then still be protected? Especially when the discovery is made, not by the host country, but the original one?

I went through COVID twice. Once at the beginning of the pandemic, when it was largely unknown, and once when I was vaccinated. Neither was pleasant, but the first was by far the worse. I believe Dr. Fauci saved lives with his precautions. #drfauci #covid

A new precedent has been set by Republicans. Holding someone in contempt for using their constitutional right to plead the fifth which is supposed to protect you from self incrimination without the inference of guilt. But the fact is that Republicans have elected to strip someone of this right.
