I have always thought conservatism meant smaller democratic government, fiscal responsibility, and smart government choices. I now know it simply means we are comfortable with you telling us nice things about us and mean things about them.

I get diplomatic immunity, and protecting our diplomats from reprisal from foreign governments. But when one crosses a line that is clearly illegal in both countries, should they then still be protected? Especially when the discovery is made, not by the host country, but the original one?

I am not a huge supporter of Ms. Harris, but I did vote for her and am convinced she would have made a better president, by far, than the current holder of the office.
