Thank you for replying. I really appreciate it! I understand noise can be an issue, and as the nights progress we should be more cognizant of that. We’re actually there bc it’s one of the few places that’s more commercial. Perhaps we can work together to make things more inclusive and respectful.

3. If the police arrive, those of us who speak Japanese should try to understand any issues and help solve any problems. The police have come almost every year in the 10 ish years I’ve gone. They ask Qs and explain any issues and leave. We just need to be respectful. 4. Be chill and have fun!

Hello! May I ask where you’ve heard this from? I’ve been on the river for 10ish years, with locals & visitors, and will be there this week. The cops have come most of these years and as long as we’re not blocking the path, not leaving trash, and being respectful they just ask some Qs and leave.
