When I hear “Surprising object on the baggage scale” I look over expecting to see a coelacanth or an undead dodo. Reality is always a wee bit disappointing…

Just completed an entire journey listening to Audible “Recommendations based on your listening.” I didn’t realise they just kept on loading more and more. Pretty cool A fair few Kurt Cobain biographies out there, eh

Me an hour ago : New era for Scotland! 11 minutes in down to 10 men and a goal down and flopping down embarrassingly in the box looking for phantom penalties. Yup, it’s reassuringly still shit being Scottish.

One thing I don’t get is some people who have always treated this as some irrelevant off the field technicality, that it had no great impact on what was on the field. I mean, please… Without the cheating Pep Guadiola, Kevin De Bruyne and the rest would be nowhere near that club. That’s the truth

Aye. Not seen much of Dominic Cumming trying to convince everyone he’s a genius for orchestrating Brexit lately. Funny that 🤷‍♂️

Andy Burnham reportedly not going to speak to The Sun due to their despicable reporting of the Hillsborough tragedy. Good, I say. Someone with a moral compass has entered the polity scene.

I’m 58. I hung up my football boots a long time ago. But I did come out of retirement for a one off game about 4 yrs ago. The fitness wasn’t what it once was but I did pull off one magical assist that to this day is described by anyone who saw it as Pirloesque (Ok mostly by me 😉)
