I've been messing with some of my old devices today, including my 11" #MacBook Air from 2015. I tell ya, I would still buy one of these today if they were updated to have Apple silicon. I still think the 11" form factor is amazing, and is so portable. I hope we see it again someday. 💻

I'm doing things a little out of order than I wanted to but it's because I made something for my friend's birthday today! www.deviantart.com/ikyle/art/Hi... www.furaffinity.net/view/66471795/ I've known about his character, SD, since 2010, and finally drew him again. He looks sharp!

If you're like me and on iOS, and got locked out of 18+ servers, but you're classified as an adult, go into the discord web app and recheck the age restricted servers on iOS. Even if it's already checked, uncheck it and check it again. That should solve your issue. This whole thing is dumb as hell.

Nothing like going on vacation with your boyfriend for a week, only to get sick the day after we go back home. He didn’t get sick though. Currently on my second week of this but I feel like I’m getting better. Just super out of energy. 🛌

I'm back from vacation but seem to have the first instances of getting sick, and now have a couple more projects to add to the upload list, so I wanna do those first: one is retrofitting a classic character, another is making a new one, but I need to decide more details on him first. 🐶

I started watching Dog & Scissors a few nights ago, a wild anime with some pretty wicked protagonists. But one of them is a reincarnated dachshund. And then I got interested in wanting to make a dachshund.

I sometimes love listening to music through my TV instead of my computer, headphones or a dedicated speaker. It's not the most impressive-sounding TV, but it has this fullness to it that no other speaker I have can replicate. It makes some tracks sound grand, if that makes any sense.

Summer may be on its way out, but this heat sure isn't. Good thing where I live, you're never too far from a pool. www.deviantart.com/ikyle/art/Po... www.furaffinity.net/view/66238697/ Today's Zergy's birthday! This is my present to him, and to commemorate our upcoming vacation! Wish him so! 🎂

A peachy-pink Yoshi, wearing nothing but perfectly-circular sunglasses with a bright red nose bridge and a smartwatch with a rainbow-colored band on his left wrist, and a Zergling, also wearing nothing but slim rectangular sunglasses with a dark red nose bridge and a smartwatch also on his left foreleg, smile at each other as they're having some kind of conversation, while wading in a pool.

OK, so I think what I'm gonna do is get another piece put out today, but save the rest for when I come back. I have one other project I'm working on and would like to include with this batch, but I'll be away from my PC on vacation and likely won't be at my MacBook enough to write descriptions.

I managed to snag an invite to Slap's birthday party! Naturally I had to ask him if he had something I've been looking for, and he gave me the natural answer, in an equally-natural tone. Oh well, the Shell Saga continues. Happy birthday, Slap!! 🎂

Whoops, I just made myself another upload train! I've got...ten pieces in the queue, and I go on vacation in a couple days, ahaha... But hey, this time, all of it is my art! The last couple weeks has been a very creative time for me. I hope you're looking forward to it! 🎨

One of these days I need to go through my iPad and save all of my project files on Sketchbook. They get backed up anytime I backup my iPad, but Sketchbook has been acting a little funny lately, I've lost progress a few times because the app ran out of RAM or something.

Last night, I accomplished a goal in video gaming 23 years in the making: 100% on Super Mario Sunshine...but done through Eclipse. Maybe this doesn't count, but Eclipse does include all of Sunshine in the mod plus its own content, so I feel like it does! Besides, I had 180 more Blue Coins to hunt!!

I've locked in what we're doing in place of Twitch Subtember this year... Sonic September: a charity event benefiting St. Jude, dedicated to my close friend Crescent, who passed away earlier this year from cancer. More information to come later this week, this charity meant everything to him. 💙

One more out to everyone at #Megaplex, thank you for an unforgettable day again! Y’all get home safe and come back to visit soon! Maybe when it feels less…melty. We do have those days, I swear. 🫠

I'm on a hunt for the best chicken nugget like I am for the best chocolate-chip cookie. I enjoy both religiously, so it's funny how many types of it I will get to try different amounts of breading or seasonings. Sometimes it's comical!

As it's raining yet again, there was something I wish I could've recorded while at #Megaplex but it was the rain. The Hyatt has lots of windows on the ceiling and huge walls of them too, so when heavy rain came, you could see it flowing off the panels or just admire it from outside Dealer's Den. 🌧️

Just got home from work not long ago, I’ve had this slight emotional feeling about the con and not being able to join my new friends for more of it. It’s a little bit of FOMO, a bit of wanting more of it, but I’m probably also just tired. I went into work feeling sleepy if that says anything!

010

Kyle @doughisaur.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Now to go to work for the evening, but I really wanna nap instead. 😴

As I mull over my thoughts of #Megaplex some more, one thing I realize is how much it challenged my social capabilities. King commented that I was definitely the extrovert of the two of us, but I don't see myself as one. Still, I found myself way more talkative than I saw myself years ago.

Kyle @doughisaur.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

I got back home from #Megaplex a short while ago. We hadn’t eaten dinner yet so King and I had Raising Cane’s just before midnight. But before I go to bed, I wanna get some thoughts out about the con while they’re still fresh in my head. 🔢

Currently sitting at a #Megaplex chair across from Regency T and U, getting this backpack off of me for a bit. Boy, I’m getting tired. I’ll probably hang out here for a bit before heading to my final event of the night. What a whirlwind of a day.

Kyle @doughisaur.bsky.social · 22/08/2026

Coming up on the last few hours of #Megaplex for the night. I’ll be attending two more events and will be heading out before midnight. I’ve still got a couple peeps I’d like to see before then, I hope we meet!

So there should be enough ink to print this once and only once. Black might be low so that’s scary. I do have plenty of cardstock. The funny thing is I was considering buying a whole new printer just to make this badge rather than buy new ink. They’re practically the same price. 🖨️

I feel like the number of times that I’ve driven up to a red light that immediately changed to green upon coming to a complete stop has risen dramatically in this year alone. 🚦

000

Kyle @doughisaur.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

In the meantime, enjoy this attempt I've got going on for a makeshift con badge. I think it looks pretty OK! Sadly there is not a laminator here, I'm sure we have cardstock, and I'll have to check for ink tomorrow.

Kyle @doughisaur.bsky.social · 19/08/2026

Today was a really good art day, one of the best pictures I think I've ever made. I can't wait for y'all to see it.

It's kinda silly to think that half of my excitement and inspiration for the last few art pieces I've done was just to use them with Tupperbox.

I realize I would like to have a con badge for Megaplex but it being in four days means I need to get creative instead. Here’s hoping I have enough ink, cardstock, and a laminator, in that order. 🖨️

Hey #Megaplex! You don’t need to hear it from me but if you go exploring in Central Florida, remember to bring sunscreen, drink lots of water, and stay cool! It’s been very hot here. Also be aware that thunderstorms have been appearing randomly. Be safe and have fun! 🏖️

I’ve been trying to do some digital work today and it is remarkably crippling when 2FA/OTC texts stop working. I am not able to log into most of my accounts today because these texts are not coming in for whatever reason.
