“Can’t Fight the Moonlight” popped up on shuffle today and now I need to watch Coyote Ugly immediately. Such a formative movie for me growing up.

Don’t even get me started… how am I supposed to rate anything when I don’t even know how I feel half the time? Indecision is a BIG part of my life 🫠 Most I can do is a thumbs up 👍 or a thumbs down 👎 (# and ⭐️ systems are just ignored)

Something I haven’t seen mentioned in regards to the “Cleveland!” sitcom of it all, is that the lyric video is in a box TV 4:3 aspect ratio.

It’s also a pleasant surprise that we’re not really on their metaphorical chopping block like we usually are these days

From what I’ve seen, gen-pop swifties seems to be divided on The Encore tracks. [Opinion #1] They hate everything but “Cleveland!” …which they think is the most romantic song in existence OR [Opinion #2] They hate everything and admit Gaylors might have a point… but ofc we’re still crazy weirdos

This video is fascinating - it’s so relevant to everything going on and also reminds me of the awards show from last year where all the actors kept giving super deep speeches about continuing to make art

While we’re all singing point of no return and poking at phantom of the opera, Mamdani is giving away 70,000 opera tickets. To see shows like Macbeth, La Bohème… Coincidence, surely, like they all are… haha

Emotions are ridiculous… on the verge of tears bc I’ve been craving donuts all day. 🫠 Why does no one around here have apple cider donuts? How do they not know what a sour cream donut is??? I didn’t think those were regional.

An extended clip of Forgotten Island was released yesterday and you have no idea how freaking hyped I am for this movie. The amount of Filipino cultural references in just these 3 minutes of film is incredible… it feels real. I feel seen. Representation matters!! 🇵🇭 youtu.be/NE8HqyEhxww?...

I stayed because of a cat… or cats. Many people don’t understand why I’m so attached to my cats, but what they don’t realize is that they are literally the main reason I’m still living today. Every time things start to get dark fo me again… THEY pull me back. They are my entire heart ♥️

Yeah landlord person! Some of us like trees — buyers and renters both —and actively seek out established growth. 😭 My neighbor cut a giant hole in the tree line between our houses a couple years ago (for seemingly no reason) and I still tear up about it.

Oh my gosh yes. My family says “we have nature here too” but it’s the wrong kind of nature and the wrong temperature for my preferences. I just crave what I used to have. Also, I just miss the random things — like being able to buy milk in a glass bottle and actually being able to shop local.

I live in the south now and think about moving back all the time… but I moved to be near family and they all thrive here for some reason. I’m the odd one out. 🫠 Just a four-season girly living in perpetual summer and it’s draining me so much. 🌸☀️🍁❄️

I miss the general ambience of fall and winter. Sigh… I was spoiled by life experiences, being raised in the northeast. I crave pumpkins, apple cider, crunchy leaves, crisp air, hot cocoa, snow and icicles, fireplaces, winter coats, twinkling lights, silence, laughter. I miss the little moments.
