DoLBEE Day 4: GTA San Andreas No Major Glitches | Streaming grand theft auto: san andreas.

Day 3 of DoLBEE has begun! Today, it's time for GTA Vice City Dupeless – and I still haven't found my notes for this run yet. twitch.tv/dosamp

I'm locked out over there because of an outdated phone number, an email address that doesn't seem to receive anything and no 2FA, but honestly I haven't missed much in the last months. Thankfully, the Nitter project is still ongoing for posts that are behind an sign-in wall.

Day 2 of DoLBEE is finally starting (after some tech issues with capture)! Today it's GTA San Andreas All Hotdogs and, depending on how long this will take to complete a (good) run, GTA Vice City Dupeless or the rest of the GTA III from yesterday. twitch.tv/dosamp

Welcome to my channel. Sometimes I play games that I haven’t played before, sometimes I act like a speedrunner, sometimes I program some useless stuff. More often than not, I have something better to ...

Now live with day 1 of DoLBEE! Today it's GTA IV Most Wanted and GTA III Any% (with casual strats). twitch.tv/dosamp

I liked the period when GFWL was not yet an issue (to be fair, there's Xliveless for that now) and I also didn't have to bother with Social Club at all by pressing a little button labeled "Play Offline" after launching my Steam copy of the game.

DosAmp @dosamp.net · 17/09/2026

I'm not sure if I will do stream incentives, if those happen I will decide about them on the spot (such as e.g. playing GTA: San Andreas on my Windows XP PC I used for a past community race).

010

DosAmp @dosamp.net · 17/09/2026

I will stream games first that I have at least a vague idea of speedrunning about, such as several categories of the GTA 3D trilogy, GTA IV (Most Wanted), Portal and Postal 2, and branch out into games I have had an interest in playing fast-ish later (e.g. Half-Life, Spyro).

DosAmp @dosamp.net · 17/09/2026

Streams will start around 8pm CEST (with the exception of Sunday) and last at least 4 hours. I plan to do seven days of this. Until Sep 24 12pm CEST, you will be able to unlock a channel badge for watching 1 hour of the stream, and a slightly different one for buying/gifting 1 sub.

DosAmp @dosamp.net · 17/09/2026

On the occasion of my birthday and the fact that I have been streaming on Twitch less than I would have liked lately, I will start a small event called DoLBEE (DosAmp's Little Birthday Event Extravaganza - not particularly inspiring) on my channel this evening.

Dear #twitch German is freeware. It's free for you to use as long and intensive as you want. But it's open source. You can't modify it as you want.

Twitch invented the new german word "rettenpeichern."

You still can nest braces and declare variables specific to that inner scope, but you can never declare them after or in a statement.

It lacks the funky "multiply by the inverse of 3 or 5 and adjust" that compilers will output with minimal optimizations, but that might work if you somehow make use of divmod. In a DOS FizzBuzz I would probably count down fizz and buzz and have a lookup table for powers of ten, but that's also okay.

Narratively having Ever Given getting stuck in 2021 to set up Hormuz in 2026 is great foreshadowing. You want your audience to understand the basics of international shipping in a lower stakes context so you drop the real plot without a lot of saggy exposition about the minutiae of cargo logistics.

Assuming it's the same as the "M" previously sold here, I agree. Way too much calories and sauce for what it offers.

My dream of running the early Windows Touhou games on a 32-bit PC-98 machine with a PCI 3D card (which would be still too slow because of the choice of CPU) was shattered by the lack of a DirectX 8.1 or 9 runtime that doesn't abort when it detects "NEC Win98".

Insurance for the car you stole and maybe modded a bit before some guy blows it up around the next corner. In the land of fantasy capitalism, you do get an exact copy of your car immediately and not just the insured sum, also it’s a one-time payment and only your garages are recurring costs.

It can't be UTF-8 because continuation bytes (0x80..0xBF) always come after start bytes (0xC0..0xF7), so even for a substring at least the ASCII space is out of place, and it can't be UTF-16 (apart from the first WinTouhous still running on Windows 98) because it's an odd number of bytes.

Also in compatibility mode after NVMe drives stopped having option ROMs to facilitate INT 13h support, so somewhere around a decade later when the Samsung 950 Pro stopped being a choice for that. I’m not sure current GPUs have fully featured VGA BIOSes, either.
