I've never hidden what my goals are: 1) Get all my classes to 100 - most of them are at least 70 with like 5 left being 60. 2) Get all my classes geared up with AT LEAST tome gear. 3) Get all the Role quests finished 4) If I have the time left, I would like to get all my relics maxed.

"Either way, those memories were hers again. She was hers again." #shale #cahciua

Shale slowly opening her eyes as she recalls the last memories of Cahciua taken away from her by the regulators of Alexandria.

Cahciua (Shetona woman with black hair and gold highlights) and Shale (elezen woman) riding atop the last rroneek (buffalo) under the Alexandrian dome through the wilds of Heritage Found, formerly known as Yyasulani.

Shale opening her eyes, the world now in brighter colors as if the sun's rays were illuminating it. She has tears in her eyes and a small, grief-ladened smile on her face as she remembers Cahciua as she was.

If the release of Beastmaster has resolidified any notion in my mind, the entire FFXIV community runs on biblical greed that exists to fuck over everyone else who isn't them.

Genuine question since I'm leveling a healer...is it rude to ask if someone's gear is good mid-dungeon? For context, I just did a run of Doma Castle and I noticed that the paladin had 17k health total, which isn't unheard of, but I also noticed that they were getting shredded by normal mobs.

Wife Guy Cyrus (And Dorian!) @dorian.etheirys.social · 26/08/2026

No I'm still mad. Square Enix didn't just give you an entire post-patch crafting zone that you can get started in with a level 10 crafter/gatherer for some of y'all to still be sitting there and going "crafting takes too long to level."

Wife Guy Cyrus (And Dorian!) @dorian.etheirys.social · 26/08/2026

AND ANOTHER THING Get. Properly. Geared. I swear if I have to tank another raid while the DPS is wearing gear that just barely lets them clear the level check for Normals and we take 25 minutes to beat a fight that should take 15, I reserve the right to set you on fire.

I'm going to be very mean for a few minutes and I need y'all to understand it comes from a place of love. If you are a new or returning player for FFXIV Online....leave Sage be. Don't look at it. Don't touch it. Don't even think about playing it until you've leveled 2 other healers.

I'm not saaaaaying it's going to happen, but would y'all be interested in watching me play a game like Retro Rewind or ReStory while I work during the day? I would obviously have to mute or turn away to answer stuff for my actual job, but I wouldn't mind killing time during the day doing that...

LP - I found a game that just oozes character because you have to build a family tree of a famous family using nothing but late 90s/early 2000s internet searching. I'm talking periodicals, minimal Wikipedia, fucking book printouts. Go play "The Roottrees are Dead", love that game so much. Its $20

As I am forced (at what is essentially gunpoint) to do World of Darkness again...the number of people who don't notice doom and subsequently die from it is too damn high. Don't observe the eye. If you observe the eye, step in the light circle.

I'm really annoyed. I saw something where someone asked "If AI was banned, could you get through a day without it?" ....fuckin...yes?!? I've gone 30 YEARS without needing it. Could I make it through a day without a cell phone? Also yes and there are days when I wish I didn't have one.

10 days ago, I lost my job. I received my final paycheck and have been actively looking for a job since. Our elder dog, Bella, needs dental work and surgery to fix an infected tooth, and our puppy Nami needs spaying/neutering. Our power company has asked us to pay nearly $1200 in bills.

Truly, the real truest FF14 experience is fighting a boss you've only ever fought once, on a class that you have rarely ever played, for stupid points to get one step closer on the grinding wheel to a weapon that proves you did the things. I am John Final Fantasy.
