One of the weirdest criticisms I've seen about Bluesky is the "lack of discourse." And it's like... Yeah. That's what I want. It's my social media, where I want to be social. I want to look at other people's Gundam's, laugh at silly jokes. I don't want to argue with fucking Nazis.

I've been a Super Robot Wars fan for a long time. So I have always loved the more "serious" SD look. And the MGSD line does a very good job of bailing that feel.

The MGSD Freedom is a super kickass build. It was legitimately fun to assemble. Even if I didn't love the look (which i do) the build sold me on the entire line. I've got the MGSD Wing Zero in the backlog, and I want the rest at some point.

Coming off of two 1/100 MGs, coming back to 1/144s with the RG Crossbone Gundam X2 almost feels like I've gone *too small.* So far, fun build. But the MS joint used for the thrusters makes me super nervous. I don't plan to touch them much once I've got it posed. #gunpla #mecha #gundam

The only thing I'm thinking about are all the missiles. Leaving them alone is arguably colour accurate, but I'm not sure I'm happy with it. Might use the same gunmetal I used on the gatlings for them, but I don't wanna overuse the one marker.

More or less done with the Heavyarms at this point. Just waiting for better weather and then I'll do the waterslides and topcoat. I'm very happy with the gunmetal on the gatlings, though it makes the rest of the weapon look worse. But a matte topcoat should fix that. #gunpla #gundam

This is less of an issue with them being combined, and more of an issue with them just being awful at managing multiplayer. Older games that tie a any amount of progress to a single player mode hold no interest for me since I only hunt with my wife.

Assuming the pool incredibly small, let's say 10ftx10ft and only 3ft deep. It would be 2,244 gallons of water. The average adult bladder is 17-24 fl. oz. So assuming the upper level, if all 16 children urinated 24oz into the pool...that's 384oz which is exactly 3 gallons or 0.14% of 2244 gallons.

Fanexpo Canada weekend. I went on Thursday and Friday. We deliberately avoided the Saturday crowds and it was... Still way too busy for us, especially Friday. We handled most of our business on Thursday, though. I'm not very touristy, so the only photos I took were to help me find my car.

Yeah, after hiring movers the last time I moved, I will always hire them now. I'm getting close to 40 now, my friends are not able to help out at the cost of a pizza and a case of beer anymore. And it's just worth the few hundred bucks to have movers do the bulk of the lifting.

We have liftoff-ish. The panel lines are not quite what I want in the green parts, but I struggle getting nice clean lines where it's like an "incline" rather than a "ditch". So I cleaned them up the best I could, and honestly... After some matte top coat, it'll look great from afar. #gunpla

Someone I know got pretty close to everything compromised because of a Terraria mod function that automatically downloads all the mods that the host has. But one was maleware that hijacked a bunch of session IDs. Its incredibly scary. I'm glad you were able to get everything back and solved.

We just only need to wait. Same deal with Gunpla scalper prices when they show up. Bandai still reprints kits from the 80s, so all you need is some patience, and you will, eventually, find that model kit at MSRP.

Whenever I read about scalping, a part of me is just a little bit happy that my primary TCG, Yugioh, is basically impossible to scalp. Its incredibly aggressive reprint policy, combined with the unfortunate number of worthless sealed products, mean that nothing stays expensive for very long.

Then I get to this piece and click the dark grey piece into the subassembly. And I was so glad that I painted the vent silver here, I had no idea it was gonna wind up like this. But the vent's original colour is the same as the dark grey piece. So it really pops. And I'm very pleased with it
