As the LAST thing I need is a more expensive addiction, I'm relieved to see Fluevog doesn't make shoes in my size. Yes, I have very weird feet (3 junior wide). The fact that I can buy DM 1460 boots mail order and know that they'll immediately fit me perfectly is why they get so much of my money.

Apple laptops originally had the apple facing the user. At one point they realized this meant that, from the point of view of everyone looking at the user, the lit-up apple was upside down. They then flipped it so it displays right-side-up to everyone else… which still confuses us long-time users.

And that was AFTER drastically trimming my shopping list! No baguettes, strawberries, bell peppers, brie, walnuts, raisins, jam, honey, etc. The assignment was to make an appetizer for 10 person potluck, and as it is I suspect I'll be eating leftovers for the rest of the week. I'm a volunteer for the Parkinson's Progression Markers Initiative, as I have a 1 in 3 genetic risk of getting Parkinson's. As a result, I go to UCSF yearly to be a lab rat for a couple of days. They run me through a battery of tests which might someday help them cure PD. The team there is awesome.
