I note the step down in luminence, which suggests the camera's sensor has a step in behaviour, but pleased with the captured shape as the eclipse reached about 93%.

#eclipse if you are late preparing for the eclipse, here is an experiment that I did with the Phyphox app. Otherwise I recommend using a hole punch to make hole is some card or foil and if you have glasses share them around

One of my local supermarkets has an over engineered canopy over the chargers, EVs are not like petrol cars you don't stand next to the cable in the rain while it is charging you go and do something else - and I have never seen a car in their chargers as they cost far too much.

I was disappointed that the Swansea lagoon didn't progress further, that may have been able to power the nearby Port Talbot steelworks. £11B is still an enormous amount of money, especially in comparison to the success of small scale roof top solar in the last couple of years.
