Morning! Tearful goodbyes to my new found corseting friends and now off to Haworth for a steampunk weekend. Planning to have plenty of rest and relaxation and not much food!

I hope the treatment is quick and easy and the thesis work progresses well. I love this corset course. Made up my toile yesterday, really pleased with it, the tutors even complimented me on the fit 🤩 We tried the hot tub last night, warm water jet massage under a starry sky was the perfect finale

Been spending the entire day pattern drafting and adjusting and making up the toile. Just got to add stiffeners and eyelet tape then I can have my fitting. Then I get to take it all apart again!

The first day of my corset retreat. Today we have learnt two different methods of creating a corset pattern. Then fed enough to ensure that we won't fit into them! It's a beautiful place, an ancient manor house by a river

You can do this 🎖️ Exhausted after a great day yesterday. Cleaning up happening around 11 this morning. Then I must get ready for my trip to Wales tomorrow, no idea what I'm taking other than my sewing machine. The house is in uproar, I'll have to deal with that at some point Happy Sunday everyone!

Hi all, just got back from our annual Bazaar. Foolishly I agreed to help in the refreshments stall. Manic but successful. Just relaxing with a cup of coffee before heading out to the cinema for our singalong showing of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

Run ragged today, it will get worse before it gets better. But it seems to be going well so far, which is hopeful. The hat is coming on, though not exactly apace. Going to see Godspell tonight which a couple of friends are in. Hope it will be good. Yes, contact your supervisor, it shows enthusiasm!

Busy day here, getting the puppets fixed together. Who knows if this will be ready in time. I wasn't happy with the musical box sound so it will just have movement. Which means only two crown gears to fabricate. Shopping for parts later. Much afraid I will not get everything done in time

Just had the x-ray and there's no visible break. Bad bruising and possibly a sprain. One of the advantages of hypermobility perhaps.

That's rotten, hope you perk up soon. At least you were well enough to enjoy your weekend. I've just been to dance class, now grabbing a bite to eat before going to A&E to get my hand looked at. Hope it doesn't take the rest of my life!

You're coping amazingly well. Do you know how long you'll need to keep having these chemo sessions? I've collected my new car, a confusing mass of buttons and screens. Luckily it one more or less tells you what to do. I'll have to do some practising in it. Time to finish making my chutney now.
