Yesterday 2 young men rang the doorbell, saying they are walking around the neighborhood asking people about how they see their future. I didn't know them, they had made no appointment. I couldn't help myself. I said "I'm 65 and I hope I'll be dead within 10 years. Is that enough info?".

I finally found the word that describes my opinion/feeling for: screaming arguments in public, physical fighting in public, (drunk/drugs induced) public puking etc.: it's undignified, it makes my respect just evaporate. Since Norris died, I've not been tending my garden. Although he never actively participated (being a dog and all), he often came to say hello and to see what I was doing.
