Anytime I use nesting in a YouTube video, people comment that they didn't realize we can use it in vanilla CSS. Browser support is getting pretty good now, but there are a few gotchas, one of which might surprise you if you're coming from a preprocessor like Sass.

I’ve been using Cursor off and on for almost a year now. However, I’ve become a bit leery of it now that it’s been acquired by SpaceX. Now it constantly defaults to Grok for the AI model it uses no matter how many times I change it.

Do not use Outlook online (outlook.com) from a smartphone. I found out the hard way that it doesn’t show you what email it’s sending your replies from. I have a couple of aliases. Responding to an email to one of those alias emails sent the response from my default account instead. 🤦🏼‍♂️

The Events Calendar is THE most frustrating WordPress plugin that I have ever dealt with. So many inconsistent behaviors between sites. Even with something as seemingly simple as importing events from a CSV file when using the same plugin versions on two sites.

Moved the image uploads for my @strapijs.bsky.social Media Library over to @cloudflare.social, which increased my @astro.build site’s performance score from 72 to 97 on mobile while retaining 100 on desktop in PageSpeed Insights. Big win.

Realized late last night that Railway doesn’t store Strapi’s media gallery images. They appear to get discarded after the Astro build. I’m going to need to store them in Cloudflare or an AWS S3 bucket instead, I think.

Massively decreased my Time Machine backups with a few exclusions I had t known about before. Had daily backups with tens of GBs backing up. So happy to have that problem solved now. They were taking forever wirelessly.
