Have you seen the movie Quadrophenia? It's all about Brighton's mods & rockers, though filmed in 1979. Sting is in it! Mods rode scooters and liked The Who etc. They wore Italian clothes and had smart haircuts. Rockers rode motorbikes, wore leather jackets and liked rock n roll. Hope that helps!

I think sometimes less is definitely more! However, it was dazzling seeing it all. (I liked the blue wallpaper as well!). I've been to Versailles too. I remember the amazing chandeliers! I wouldn't like to be the one in charge of cleaning them!! 😁

Brighton is famous for lots of things, including The Lanes and the Mods and Rockers battles in the 1960s! 🛵🏍

There was a theme running through the Pavilion about dragons! They were everywhere, so I'm assuming that the sticks are a dragon's nest. I think it has giant dragon's eggs in it!! 🐉

Nothing better than comfort food! 🤗

He certainly was!! You couldn't get more lavish if you tried! That red was everywhere. He was a prince that liked to get noticed!!!

It really impressed me! Not too cold when I visited, but I noticed dehumidifiers dotted around. Wish I'd tried the cafe now. Sounds amazing! 😋

Very!! Dining out isn't cheap! But I have to say these were worth every penny. That pigeon knew where to come! 😄

It wouldn't give up until I gave it a chip! 😂 And they were very tasty!!

This was my view on Monday as I enjoyed a fish and chips lunch by the beach. This friendly pigeon wanted to have a share!! 😄 🍟

Brighton's Palace Pier was established in 1899 and is grade II listed! There's a fairground at the end, and it's a lovely place to take a walk.
