Last night I hosted a live music night. Great to hear lots of musicians playing great music. If there is a music night near you, go and have a look. Musicians love a crowd!!

I do enjoy sweets!! Jelly babies have always been a favourite. I also like liquorice allsorts, fruit pastilles, and midget gems! And almost every kind of chocolate!! 😋

I love finding a copy of a book that's signed by the author! Great to come across this one signed by Michael Palin! A Medieval Miscellany, signed by the editor, is a lovely book full of fabulous illustrations!

Who better than Gromit to guard the entrance to the Royal Mint! After all, this place produces millions of pounds worth of coins!! There's also a very nice cafe on site.

There's a fabulous grade II listed outdoor lido in Ynysangharad Park, in Pontypridd. Opened in 1927, it's of Art Deco design! 🏊‍♂️

After leaving the Royal Mint I travelled on to Pontypridd. There's old bridges and new buildings where the rivers Taff and Rhondda meet. Sir Tom Jones was born in the village of Treforest nearby. As I walked along I couldn't help singing a few verses of What's New Pussycat! 🎶 😄

The Royal Mint has been the official maker of UK coins since 1968! It's a fabulous place to visit. I went on the tour last time, so just looking around the shop today!
