Ok I had to give up on finishing Handmaid's Tale TV show because it gets so repetitive, aimless and annoying 😭😭😭 and then Hannah's story doesn't even get included and June never achieves her goal idk how the OG fandom weren't rioting because that was some GoT S8 shit.

Eg. He asks why she wants to confuse Hannah when Hannah is settled and happy and the show has her act all tongue tied but this question has been asked and answered in past dialogues: because she will become an adult in a world where she's going to be oppressed for being a woman. Why are we confused.

Re: people will be arguing and it feels like a badly written RPG tree where none of the answers felt appropriate. Felt that way watching the phonecall between June and Lawrence in Handmaid's Tale S4. So many things either of them could say or reference but they say basically nothing.

I don't understand how show/TV dialogue has got so bad. It's the only verbal medium they need to utilise and they somehow can't do it. Not talking about the way people phrase things either though it's sometimes an issue. I mean the way the conversations actually play out is really weird.

The live action One Piece is pure stream slop I don't get how anyone can like it. It's the same with Fallout where the whole plot, writing and acting is garbage but it looks pretty so people are distracted by the jangling keys effect.

I kept sleeping on Handmaid's Tale because I knew how absolutely gut wrenching it would be but I'm so glad to be in a place mentally where I can finally watch it because it's fucking fantastic. Still gut wrenching obviously but also peak.
