I think what makes ace combat 8's story so food so far is how much more grounded it feels to experience everything from the limited perspective of rex, instead of cutscenes taking place separated from yourself

So far, biggest difference is probably the flight controls, which are a lot slower in 8, but they still feel very responsive once youre used to it so it gives them a nice weight and impact! the game also has an amazing soundtrack, beautiful setting, more interesting story, more strategy, arhggf
