I regularly think about 2010's "bigotgate" where the whole media became about how it was a discrace for Gordon Brown to call a racist from Rochdale "a bigoted woman". This narrative really lends into the thing at the moment where bigotry has been retroactively made a "protected characteristic".

I cannot stress how much access to trans healthcare has saved my life. I repressed how much bottom dysphoria I had before I found out I had hit the end of the waiting list. It was bad enough that I've had flashbacks to it. I could only wish for access to FFS (sadly but a dream since I can't work)

I personally find myself impacted by misogyny much more than transphobia. I still get issues for being trans fairly often but its not as prolific. A bunch of my hardships in my youth were through being feminised but denied access to support due to being trans. "Transandrophobia" doesn't do that.

Trans women are women is often used as some affirmation thing. Its so paper thin. It doesn't describe the level to which vile and violent misogyny fucks up those of us who are more vulnerable, like any woman. Transmisogyny is that plus a man saying "that person" and "nice tits" a sentence apart.
