I've always leaned towards satin gloves as a complement of color, a little apron to break up the dress, often black thigh highs to bring out the legs. You could try chokers, pearls, belts, things that could similarly complement and break up those solid colors. dollnatalie.straw.page

But get measured!! Measure twice, cut once as they day. It's saved me so much time and worry to HAVE measurements. And women's sizes aren't cut and dry like men's sizes. It took me three sizes of pants WITH measurements to find my proper pants size. 😭 And honestly, I think I STILL need a diff size.

The brutal honesty is that you should always get your measurements where you can help it. Tailor's measuring tape is incredibly useful. If you absolutely can't measure, my rough estimate is that men's to women's sizes often require going up one size, example being L to XL. dollnatalie.straw.page

If "getting into this" means what I do, there's a terrible amount of nuance to describe what I do and how I do it. If you just want to dress like a housewife however, I recommend starting by looking at Gowntown, a seller on Amazon that I've gotten a bunch of my dresses from. ^^

What would be your advice for anyone wanting to get into this sorta thing? Especially with the housewifey side of things?

What made me decide on it? One of my first dresses I bought when I was still so unsure about my gender was a simple red dress in the exact kind of cut, an "A-line" dress. Frankly, it gave me such intense gender euphoria that I often wore the dress to sleep and hated getting out of it...
