I'm pretty good at writing scenes but boy howdy do I suck at connecting them into a cohesive story... I think I'm almost there with this comic script, I just gotta overcome my embarassment to show it to my editor wife lol

Given the creator having some shitty views and also just straight up being a plagiarist, you can def give inktober a miss! If you want to do a drawing challenge, you do you, but don’t feel like you’re obligated—we already do enough unpaid labour, let’s not add more to the pile.

Yeah i think he meant for it to be super Dystopian but it hit a bit too close to reality lmfao

In that case I recommend reading the first 5-6 episodes before re-reading the first ones (or the manga). The story has a very cool way of teaching you how to look for clues so you can spot stuff before the story does the big reveal!

Also ciconia is insanely good but idk when rest of it is coming out, it has a very intense cliffhanger 😫

Higurashi is kind of a chore bc the humor is so juvenile, i still havent finished the last part...umineko is a pretty smooth read. It's a really interesting character study even if you don't get into the mystery stuff, all the adults are horrible in ways idk if ive seen in other media

Ella @dodostad.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

I think i had just finished reading umineko when i watched it so my brain was at optimal wave lenght lol
