Dang it! Loan loan! Wish you could edit

New (to me) Baz. Estate item. Had to remind myself he was under long-term contract with MGM and only under load to Fox and Universal. The fact it was Disney verified likely means it originated at the MGM (now Hollywood) Studios autograph shack. #BasilRathbone #SherlockHolmes

Got this one a couple weeks ago. Similar to the other I have that want personalized, but JSA authenticated (not like I care on vintage autographs like this that are near impossible to do so). This is especially true when they are often obtained from estate sales, old autograph book collections, etc

Hmmm. I wonder who put it there? 😂

My newest Dr Watson autograph arrived from the UK today. Not bad shape for 1945. #SherlockHolmes #DrWatson #NigelBruce

Was sad to hear of David Burke's passing the other day. But glad I managed to get this from him a few years ago before he passed. #DavidBurke #DrWatson #Granada #SherlockHolmes

Nice rare studio print from 1944. I've seen from this series before, but never this angle. Notice the stamp of crediting the photographer "Ray Jones" at Universal Pictures on the back.

Itchy little 3D-printed gem from eBay.

I'm really sorry Curtis! As a cat person as well, I'm so sorry to hear this. It sounds like she had a lovely, long life though. ❤️

That's what I've been thinking of trying. 👍🏻

Prof Biglow @docwatson58.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

I know. And it looked like THIS on that corner before. I blame UPS fully for this. 😡

110

Prof Biglow @docwatson58.bsky.social · 10/02/2026

So I got my "mint" 1942 Lobby card for "Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror." UPS managed to bend the corner. 😡

Happy Birthday Wattie ol' boy! #NigelBruce born on this date in 1895, Ensenada, MX. Goofy Watson to Rathbone's Holmes...and my past life alter-ego. Broke out Willie's pipe and hat for the occasion.

I can't be the only one who has done something like this to their iPhone... got tired of everyone else trying to connect to my phone as "iphone(2)" 😂. Rental. Not my car. #Sherlockforever

When under blizzard conditions... my @honestdogbooks.bsky.social came through for me! One can never have too many SH books.

Prof Biglow @docwatson58.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

I hear ya. All my professional journals have gone digital, so I don't get much in hard copy anymore and I prefer that for SH stuff

Prof Biglow @docwatson58.bsky.social · 13/12/2025

Now how can I get a copy of this fedora/hat as all the forums speak of donegals/walking hats, etc... which I have... but nothing that matches this one with the fedora brim to curl!

Any of my stateside Sherlockians receive their Fall BSI issue yet? Just checking on unreliable mail delivery in Fla. This issue was supposedly mailed out a few weeks ago and I'm suffering from radio silence. 😢. Supposedly not supposed to panic unless it's not here by Oct 31, but US Mail/tarrifs...

Haven't been on the socials much lately. Too much depressing news, so here's a press photo from "The House of Fear" I acquired a week or two ago. This angle does not appear in the American release, but a closeup does around mins 35-38. #SherlockHolmes #BasilRathbone #NigelBruce #HouseofFear
