New (to me) Baz. Estate item. Had to remind myself he was under long-term contract with MGM and only under load to Fox and Universal. The fact it was Disney verified likely means it originated at the MGM (now Hollywood) Studios autograph shack. #BasilRathbone #SherlockHolmes

Got this one a couple weeks ago. Similar to the other I have that want personalized, but JSA authenticated (not like I care on vintage autographs like this that are near impossible to do so). This is especially true when they are often obtained from estate sales, old autograph book collections, etc

Nice rare studio print from 1944. I've seen from this series before, but never this angle. Notice the stamp of crediting the photographer "Ray Jones" at Universal Pictures on the back.

So I got my "mint" 1942 Lobby card for "Sherlock Holmes and the Voice of Terror." UPS managed to bend the corner. 😡

Any of my stateside Sherlockians receive their Fall BSI issue yet? Just checking on unreliable mail delivery in Fla. This issue was supposedly mailed out a few weeks ago and I'm suffering from radio silence. 😢. Supposedly not supposed to panic unless it's not here by Oct 31, but US Mail/tarrifs...

Haven't been on the socials much lately. Too much depressing news, so here's a press photo from "The House of Fear" I acquired a week or two ago. This angle does not appear in the American release, but a closeup does around mins 35-38. #SherlockHolmes #BasilRathbone #NigelBruce #HouseofFear

Hearing a lot of complaints about Brett pipes at auction on FB. A collection of 3 church wardens that went for $4000, so a little over $1000 each from his private collection. Considering Bruce's ran me in the same range for a single several years ago, this seems fair. And Bruce had hundreds.
