Kids shouldn’t have to defend themselves from climate change. In a powerful new op-ed, Drs. Lisa Patel and Georges Benjamin warn that the #EndangermentFinding repeal will worsen the health of our families and children. ➡️ www.apha.org/publications... @apha.org @lisapatel.bsky.social
Op-ed: Children shouldn't have to defend themselves from climate change. "Policies that allow more pollution will only make it harder for children to breathe, learn, and thrive. The consequences will not fall evenly...This is why we urge policymakers to restore the endangerment finding and maintain science-based protections that safeguard the air Americans breathe." - Dr. Lisa Patel and Dr. Georges Benjamin.

There’s a lot to unpack when it comes to federal climate action—from silencing science to disregarding the health impacts. We can respond by making it personal and local, building collaborations, and sharing our stories. “We’re all in this fight together.” #OPOH26
