Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 03/04/2026For anyone studying mitochondria, the Gordon Research Conferences are an amazing way to learn about cutting edge research, network with top scientists in the field, and develop peer collaborations for the next generation of mitochondrial researchers. We look forward to your applications! 010
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 03/04/2026Held in the picturesque mountains of Lucca, Italy and preceding the the 2027 GRC, we'll be exploring our understanding of mitochondrial dysfunction in disease. 100

Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 12/02/2025One important way I've grown during my postdoc fellowship - I'm no longer terrified to present in front of a group! I'm certainly still nervous, but I'm more excited to share my research than I am concerned that I'll make a silly mistake 😊 000
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 12/02/2025Yesterday was the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, and I had the pleasure of sharing my Work in Progress to my Department. It has been a while, so I had a lot to share! I also got excellent questions/feedback in return. Thanks to Amit Budhraja for taking the photo. #WomenInSTEM 220
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 20/01/2025I hear you, though with a drink instead of a smoke. I know I said ignoring the news, but I've seen tidbits on Reddit. I'm just hoping enough of us come through these next four years so we can repair any damage this administration does 🫤 110
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 11/01/2025She's finished! Just need to sign it, remove the gridding, clean her up, and mount her for framing 😆 #CrossStitch 280
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 13/12/2024I do the same thing! Sometimes I'll even read a passage out loud, it helps catch grammar issues and helps me make sure it's really what I mean to say. 020
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 13/12/2024Came here to say this. It won't look like anything with just a few drones at a time, but they can still test flight patterns. 030
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 12/12/2024Just sharing my progress on my WIP, Bluebeard's Princes by Mirabilia. I started this in May, sorry she's in segments haha but she's on a scroll frame. #CrossStitch 072

Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 05/12/2024I think my Spotify wrapped is trying to tell me something about my top played songs. Why else would they have Seether's "Fake it" after 4 French songs I learned this year haha 000
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 02/12/2024Ooh I get a BlueSky shout-out too! Thank you so much Hubby! Love you too 😊💜 000

Maybe even consider some Crossfire variant where he calmly smashes a conservative lackey to smithereens on a weekly basis. Again: WE NEED SOME DAMN FUN." I would watch the hell out of this lol 2142

Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 28/11/2024I have to say, the joy I see from the Science BlueSky Community is really infectious. This is quickly becoming my favorite platform 😊 Happy Thanksgiving to everyone who celebrates! 130
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 28/11/2024This is so amazing, I can't stop watching the video! I look at mtDNA foci in my work, and I don't think your cytoplasmic points look like what I've seen in MEFs. I'd expect to see a lot more of them per cell. But I bet you could add a PKMito dye from Spirochrome to test if these points are in mitos. 120
Stephanie Marie @docrock19.bsky.social · 26/11/2024Multiomics is what comes to mind, using when we're linking genomics, proteomics, and metabolomics together. I'm loving the term Omeomics though! 010
