One of the best books I've read this year. Legacy by @ucheblackstockmd.bsky.social is an incredible account of systemic racism in medicine as well as a tribute to Black women who continue to work for change. Personal. Powerful. 10/10 recommend.

Finishing up Grown by Tiffany D. Jackson...As a Black woman who was a Black girl, whose youngest sister is a teenager...this book hits. Too often Black girls are subject to adultification...never really treated as children--called fast for existing...this is a book!

Last night I finished, She Who Knows and picked up Walter Mosley's Touched. Blue Light is my all time favorite book by Mosley, but Touched came pretty close! 11/10 recommend
