ICE vehicles waste a whopping 80% of the energy in their fuel. Electric vehicles are propelled by entirely different mechanisms. Energy enters the vehicle as electricity, which directly powers the drivetrain: EVs need not convert one form of energy to another resulting in much higher efficiency.

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, and most of the energy that does, moves the car, not the people. Sound efficient? HT @ellenmacarthurfdn.bsky.social

My thoughts? Deadly coronaviruses arise in nature all the time (like SARS-1 and SARS-2 before SARS-CoV2 ("COVID")). Any scientist letting their guard down could have contracted it, carrying it out of a lab. Or, being cultivated in a lab with poor containment, might have escaped. Still natural origin

Actually, there is still no evidence that COVID was either natural origin OR from a lab leak. Hard to prove either way. It would honestly be stupid for any scientist to create COVID as a bioweapon. Coronaviruses spread easily, no way to contain once released.

Compiled 285 reviews show tocilizumab, remdesivir, corticosteroids, JAKI, anakinra, colchicine, ivermectin, and sofosbuvir lower mortality significantly; otherwise hydroxylchroquine increased the risk of mortality significantly, while Lopinavir/Ritonavir had no benefit.

Not getting COVID is the best protection vs. the cardiac risk - because of the damage the virus does to the blood vessels. The vaccine induced myocarditis is generally very short-lived and treatable and ppl recover. No evidence it is associated w/increased heart attack risk.

Heart attack risk in young has gone up. COVID infection itself damages vascular endothelium (cells lining blood vessels). Ppl who recover from COVID-19 have ~ double the risk of major cardiac events (e.g. heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular death) vs. uninfected people for 3 yrs post infection

COVID origin? We still don't know origin. Most likely is 1) natural origin with a possible transmission to someone working to isolate coronaviruses from bats - or transmission to someone working in a coronavirus lab in China. Bioweapon? Social distancing was only one tool that was thought *might* help - and it was a fatal disease. Later, it was found that the virus transmitted as an aerosol, not only in particles (could travel through air ducts on ships!) - so social distancing was minimally effective.

Without sensitive tests at the beginning of the pandemic, no one knew actual case fatality rates. Fauci himself testified that some said it was 1% or even 3%, but he said clearly that once we knew how many *asymptomatic* infections there were, the case fatality rate would be LOWER than 1%

mRNA vaccines are not “gene therapy” and cannot (!) change a person’s DNA VAERS reports ALL “adverse events” (illness/death/accident) after a vaccine. Many not associated with vaccination (even non-vaccinated ppl die/have same things happen in similar timeframe).
