A BUS driver who safely delivered a passenger's baby on board her vehicle has been honoured with a national transport award. Pummy Hadebe sprang into action when a pregnant passenger went into labour shortly after boarding the bus at Nelson Street in Glasgow. What began as a routine shift quickly transformed into a life-changing event when Ms Hadebe realised the baby was arriving before paramedics could reach the scene.
