The Victorians had some weird taste in Christmas cards, putting that aside Not ‘ A Happy Christmas’ in sight. Plus get a load of this 1950s Christmas card. What NO ‘Happy Christmas’ ? In the 1980s no ‘Christmas’ on the selection box. Nothing unusual. No faux outrage then.

I did an O level in photography. We learnt about how photography’s could be manipulated for propaganda . Even in the American Civil War Staged scenes: Photographers would arrange bodies etc Of course it was much more difficult to make & distribute. Here is a modern example

Little Arriety had to be put to sleep on Friday. Unfortunately cancer got her and her siblings . She was such a sweetie, but it was very aggressive cancer.

Arrietty blk rat had to have a hysterectomy to save her, recently lost her two siblings to cancer, meets a new friend (as yet unnamed) Arrietty is nearly 18mth old & so tiny she looks the same size as the baby blonde rat she’s introduced to. So the cycle of rat keeping continues.

Violet the rescue rat update . Another visits to the vet - thought it might be her last but she has been given a small reprieve. Hee symptoms are a puzzle may be a result of tumour in her nose. However intensive nursing for a few days before decision made. If she gets better not a tumour.

In some dreadful rescue rat news little Arrietty has gone for a scan but the prognosis is not looking good. Womb cancer suspected. The scan is to see if it’s spread. We then have to decide on the next course of action
