What I find interesting about this line is that it’s an admission in order for this to happen, they need you to lose your ordinary intelligence that you already have. This is why they want to get into schools. They want kids to lose basic capacity so that they have to rent it forever.

I couldn’t agree more with the conclusions in this piece and am always paper-first in my classroom, but one issue I don’t see mentioned is that many districts (including mine) use the availability of tech as an excuse to ration paper

In the last 5 weeks, despite my needle anxiety, I’ve gotten a TDAP booster, flu shot, Covid shot, AND my first Shingles shot. Planning some celebratory ice cream and thinking the Yankees should reward me by taking the division. From the Jays this weekend!

Long time lurker, first time poster, but Annie and Josie thought it was high time they were introduced to Bluesky. Happy December!
