Completely coincidentally, 30k is what I would need to buy the domain.

robb ‮ @dlx.mastodon.social.ap.brid.gy · 10/10/2026

I’m raising a 30k round for fol.ai, my AI Foley startup that is going to revolutionize how we produce the sound of metal hinges falling on the floor.

I made it possible to make sloped walls in my relaxing building game 🌳🏡Island architect🏡🌳 Starting to really feel like the buildings system is coming together, with a good balance of flexibility and it just doing the sensible thing for you. #gamedev #indiegamedev #indiegame #cozygames

I find the Liquid Glass material really odd when layered, e.g. Find My has both a Plus Button and the Tab Bar layered atop a sheet and it just doesn’t look good at any transparency setting.

@helge how does one follow an arbitrary stream? I was under the impression shared photo albums are pretty high trust affairs, not sure how this is meaningfully different from iCloud contacts airdropping/sending you goatse?

@helge seems kinda patronizing? I know who I share these with and since it’s a shuffle anyway, there’s no reason they couldn’t run their filter systems on the album and hide anything the system considers risky

Absolutely baffling the Photos widget can’t show Shared Albums.

Given how careful Device Hub is not to waste screen real estate, they must have a 52" Studio Display XDR in the works

Should I upgrade to Golden Gate or give it more time in the oven?

Can Apple *please* use some AI to pre-fill a new contact when I create one from johnny.appleseed@me.com?

Deflated to find that – at the WOZ store – I can’t pay for my WOZ Chardonnay with WozCoin.

The Device Hub is a real one step forward, two steps back type of tool

Kinda disappointed how iOS 27 walked back navigation bars.

Building something like a two column text layout is a ton of work, especially with SwiftUI - the lack of powerful modern text APIs strikes again.

I don’t expect many apps to make great use of the partially folded config on iPhone Duo - dedicating half the screen to a sidebar feels wasteful and aligning content with the crease dynamically seems non trivial.

Pretty excited for Reeder on the iPhone Duo, hope it’s not going to be a terribly long wait.

What’s the best way to migrate from 1Password 7 to Apple Passwords? Do I go via the lastest 1Password or am I missing a direct sway? /cc @rmondello

Do I understand correctly that iPhone Duo will launch with iOS 27.1 and I need not worry about an iPhone Duo that doesn't have ReservedRegion?

Did not expect even IP57 and didn’t expect pencil support either, two-up multitasking feels right but leaves the iPad Mini on the other side of some invisible quasi-laptop divide.

V excited about the Duo, a ton of amazing details that must’ve been fun to work on.

Behold, she is done! This is, without a doubt, the most complex project I've ever undertaken, and I'm very proud of myself for seeing it through to the end. #humanArt #noAI #artistsofMastodon #IslamicGeometricart

Panel composed of large tesselating stars, hexagons, and bow-tie shapes, each filled with symmetrically twining white biomorphic designs on a dark blue background. The outlines of the shapes are also in dark blue channels, and the border around the panel is dark blue with a little picket-fence type design running along it in white.

Don’t wanna hate on ESLs but “No Woman, No Cry” is not the opposite of “Mo Woman, Mo Cry”, it’s negated imperative.
