The two incumbents (both R’s) whose districts overlap at Roanoke have refused to hold a town hall for at least the last two years. There is a demonstration calling one of the out in front of his Roanoke office every Monday at noon. We have two good candidates, and people are pissed.

Last I saw, besides insurance companies fleeing the state (12 have become insolvent there since 2020) the state insurer of last resort (Citizens Property) has been offloading policies after several years of paying out more than they took in.

Difficult as it may be, there are alternatives to Amazon. Use Amazon’s site to find the merch and the company selling it, then buy directly from the company. I gave Amazon the boot almost 2 years ago.
