Take some time and call your representatives in congress. If you’re in an area affected by the winter storm today is a great opportunity. You’ll likely go to voicemail but that’s fine. Have fun with it. I called Cory Booker and asked where his spine is, looking like Gumby over there. Abolish ICE

Alt: A picture of Gumby sitting in a classroom. Also any democrat without a spine not doing anything about ice.

If anyone transfers large files online regularly you absolutely should consider a NAS! In under a week I was able to transfer and make 8tb of footage shareable to anyone anywhere who has a link. So folks on XP Stage you should be able to get your footage soon.

Figured I’d share the xp stage filming set up. This is a blackmagic pocket 4k with a Fujinon 15-55 with a Shinibi 7 inch monitor. On the monopod arm is a mini micro 5 key keyboard attached to my iPad which was connected to the Mac mini attached to the ATEM so I could film and switch at the same time

I’ll be running 3 workshops at MAGFest this year! If you want to improve your videos or refresh on things you learned long ago these are the panels for you! The first will be hands on with film equipment, one will be a music video workshop where we film a video with Owlbear,

Hey! Haven’t been on social media in a hot minute. People have a lot to say about MAGFest- And so do I, I’m doing a number of workshops/seminars/panels at the XP stage this year! All having to do with video production and theory. Would love to hear if there’s anything y’all would like to hear!

Update: the bill is likely to exceed $7000 after everything is accounted for. He will have to be hospitalized for two days at least. I'm on a payment plan for the rest of it but anything helps. Thanks again for signal boosts. He's been a very good boy for all the tests tonight!

JUSTICE FOR JAX. www.ipetitions.com/petition/jus... More details are available on the petition. An act of violence committed against a trans woman, and it’s being swept under the rug and mishandled by the police. If you have a minute to sign and share, please do so. All we have is each other.

Jax is a Trans woman who went missing and was found over a month later discarded and decomposed. The entire community of south denver is so devastated over this tragic act of violence. Of course, the police are mishandling her case and dragging their feet and really don't care about getting justice. It's been horrific watching her mother have to search for the body of her daughter and having to advocate for her not being dead-named by the police. Since she was found it's like the media doesn't really care about what happens next. Please sign the petition and share if you can. Let there be Justice for Jax!

Little check in post: I support the protests happening in LA/across the country, ICE/Trump administration is bad, AI is awful and you shouldn’t use it, billionaires are bad, trans rights are human rights, your body your choice. Go out to local protests if you can and as often as you can.

Finally made it home from MAGFest. Had an absolutely amazing time running the film crew for XP stage, running two panels with @ropanuganti.com, and a solo filmmaking panel. I also took a bunch of photos on my Olympus pen f so I’ll be posting those once I get everything developed!

I also have a 3rd panel/workshop at MAGFest! This one I dive deep into how, why, and what goes into shooting a music video. I’ll tackle film theory, philosophy of a shot, and give you a great starting point to get into filmmaking/improve your shots. I like to think of this one like a lecture.

First analog camera! It’s a beautiful half frame Olympus Pen F with a 50-90mm f3.5. Been wanting to up my photography/cinematography skills so I figured going analog with its limitations (but natural beauty) will help with that. I plan on giving this a spin at MAGFest!

My great-grandparents used to travel to schools/libraries telling Cherokee stories/singing songs their parents and grandparents taught them growing up. They were a cool bunch. I briefly remember my great grandpa when he gave me and my brothers an arrowhead in a medicine bag. He passed soon after.

I can't stand having to reiterate my stance because crises that affect these people can't stop happening. Please, normalize this already. I'm so tired of people's rights and orientation and the like being constantly under assault like this. I'm so tired, just make it stop already. 😭

I’ll go ahead and put this out there, if you voted for someone who is against people’s rights to their own bodies, who doesn’t support people’s identity, and is a racist criminal, then simply I never want to work with you. If you don’t care about humans, I don’t care for you.

Hey anyone who has hearing loss and wants to get some hearing aids you should absolutely get some air pods pro 2s. They are way better than the other hearing aid I’ve used and significantly cheaper. The ability to do your own test (while not entirely accurate) is a huge bonus!
