It did. I did what I needed to do and left. Am home and marked safe now.

It all happened so fast. People are so emboldened now. It is actually really frightening that they would do this for nothing in the middle of a department store for no good reason apart from impress their similarly ignorant collagen pumped faux fur wearing girlfriend.

Just egressed by a customer who nearly knocked me over on the escalator in Zara Cathedral Street then shouted that I looked like a man and the girl in a white fur coat told me I didn't know whether I was a woman or a man? Complained to Zara management. They did NOTHING.

The next shape of man will be hunched with text neck and gnarly with texters' thumb

Yes thank you for checking in. We've sorted out my mum's care plan finally and it's helped her enough to stay in her home 🏡 👍🏾❤️‍🩹

And continued. @djpaulette.bsky.social handover to Kath McDermott. Two of the most uplifting sets ever, making a lot of folks, young and old, very happy.

I think we need to have the conversations more openly. Nobody really talks about it and it's the only real guaranteed inevitability of life

DJ PAULETTE @djpaulette.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

This is the family discussion due next week.

DJ PAULETTE @djpaulette.bsky.social · 19/09/2026

This is the end of life drift and it's so draining for her and everyone around.

Are there any charities or groups that might be able to help with advice or care choices. The Alzheimer’s Society was a great help for us.

I have a reasonably helpful family - we are all doing our best but it's getting to the breaking point where she needs around the clock care, the hospital has reduced care package and we can't fill the gaps.

This has been the fourth challenging week. Solidarity to anyone looking after elderly parents.

When shops sell produce loose you would expect that they know how you should cook the stuff? Every time I use Village Green in Prestwich they are arsey when I ask how to cook stuff. It puts me off being ecological. Google is your friend is not a response. Shit customer service.

This is exactly what hat my driving instructor told me back in the 80s - leave in neutral when parked on flat ground, leave in reverse parking nose down on a hill so if the brakes fail it will never advance into the next car. Just remember if you do it and start up slow.

Remember when hard drives needed their own power source? I have just met this edge looking for back in the day event photos. Where's that box of cables? PURGED.

DJ PAULETTE @djpaulette.bsky.social · 16/08/2026

Having another house and wardrobe purge day. Might do some rage weeding in a bit too.

#sundayservice youtu.be/Dp7zQcmKcNU?... I have travelled through time with this Brainstorm album and this song feeds my soul and spirit every single time. Tears 🥲🥲🥲🥲 Belita Woods is the voice - she is shining with the elders looking down. A classic that I loved playing at downlow disco brunches.

Close the blinds and the curtains but keep a through draft - put a wet towel in the freezer and use it when needed. Wet your hair, face and hands with cold water and let them air dry. Think more dog 🐕 find the coolest spot (probably on the floor - deep breathing) and lie in it - you're allowed!
