djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 27/07/2026@empiregass.bsky.social Just stopped by to say what a great job you did -- and everybody on the Soccerwise podcasts did -- with your fabulous World Cup coverage. You nailed it day in and day out. 010
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 03/05/2026@flyoverfooty.bsky.social Flyover Footy will be represented tonight at the CITY v. Austin FC match. 100
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 08/03/2026@mattbakerstl.bsky.social Matt, I know you're busy. Just wondering when the Flyover Footy kits will ship. I ordered on Feb 14 but haven't seen or gotten any notifications. Or is there someone else to contact? Keep up the fabulous work. You make the losses a little less painful. 000
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 14/02/2026@mattbakerstl.bsky.social I should have said this at the end of last season, so I'll say it now 'to start '26: You did a fabulous job on Flyover in '25 and you're off to a great start in '26. Thank you for all your hard work -- and reasonableness. You keep me informed. PS: I like the new kit. 120
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 02/05/2025@dgoold.bsky.social Derick, great BPIB with Kevin Wheeler on Cardinals player development approach with veterans and youth. I'm much smarter now. I like how Wheeler challenges you and you explore topics of substance, not just ramble on about a bad bullpen. Podcasting at its best. 100
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 29/12/2024I met Jimmy Carter twice ... He was a good man, no matter what the right says. Politics aside, Gingrich and the right tore down a decent, honorable man who believed in public service because he wasn't like them. Yeah, right. Look at what we have now. RIP, President Carter. 000
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 28/11/2024It's not just on this day, pretty much all the time, thankful for @bmiklasz.bsky.social, @dgoold.bsky.social, and @williamfleitch.bsky.social for keeping me informed re: @stlcardinals.bsky.social and somewhat sane when all goes askew. 020
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 24/11/2024Speaking of coaching changes, @stlcitysc.bsky.social is set to hire Olof Mellberg. Don't know much about him. Has playing and coaching pedigree. Seems to like pressing style of play (👍). And who doesn't like the name Olof? Now, let's have season 3 more like (better than) season 1. 000
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 24/11/2024Wow, @stlblues.bsky.social made a quick coaching change, dismissing Bannister and hiring Montgomery 5 days after being fired by Bruins. I like the decisiveness. Let's see what he can do to get this team to play better, more consistent, and get more wins than losses. 000
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 24/11/2024Impressed by LAFC and Seattle play in MLS playoffs. Tense game. Enjoyable. Maybe not Premier League or LaLiga yet, but it's all relative. Gotta love the Sounders. Saw them in the old NASL. 030
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 23/11/2024@dgoold.bsky.social Excellent discussion with Baseball Isn't Boring's Rob Bradford in a recent Best Podcast in Baseball. Not just on C Bloom and the Cardinals but also on the game itself. Pairs nicely with recent episodes with Dayn Perry and Dylan Hernandez. 100
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 23/11/2024@bmiklasz.bsky.social If you haven't already, check out the latest Best Podcast in Baseball by the best beat writer in baseball, your friend Mr D Goold. Some good insight on Bloom and the game from Baseball Isn't Boring's Rob Bradford. I miss you and Derrick talking ball. 100
djlatx.bsky.social @djlatx.bsky.social · 23/11/2024@bmiklasz.bsky.social After years away from social media/networks like the blue bird that's now named after a capital letter, I joined BlueSky just to follow Bernie Miklasz -- OK, and John Scalzi. 100
