One of my projects over Christmas was re-sewing the patches on my dad’s old letterman sweater. It’s too small for 17, but 19 loves it, and she plans to wear it. I love that she loves vintage things. She can also wear a few of the things that I inherited from my mom, like classic wool skirts.🥰

The Lego set I got yesterday for my birthday were fun, especially because 17 helped me. I lack the fine motor control he has, but it was fun to learn his building process (he has a whole system). I may need to put them in a smaller-mouthed vase though, as they slide around.

I ended up having a really lovely day yesterday. I went out with two of my dearest friends. I got two compliments randomly as well. 🥰 I received a lovely Christmas present. Saw wild swans in a field and went to our sweet little downtown for an appletini. Just what I needed!
