Are you going to wear these with shoes? I really like your gusset decreases, by the way.

Oh. So much fun!!!!! Can't wait to see it with sleeves. I'm waiting on yarn to start one of your cowls, by the way.

It's beautiful; a worthy choice for the yarn.

That's what I had thought... So which creatures are on this one? I suspect it's obvious in person, but the yoke is a little crunched, so it's acting like a teaser... 😉

Hares for adults? Or will we see lots of woodland creatures?

Be well. That air must be difficult to breathe, even if it will create magical sunsets.

I've been working on a few things, but it's also been a busy few days since the last #WIPWednesday . This week I've made some progress on the Seine Socks - past the first heel and almost to the toes. The sweater is the Sigvaldi cardigan in Reynolds book 78. Details in the alt. #knit #🧶
Sigvaldi cardigan from Reynolds New Icelandic looks, book no. 78. I'm not sure who the designer is for this one.
The yarn is Borroco Vintage in shades of grey and black. I'm holding something sparkly with the black because this will be used for performances. The Seine socks (or just the first one, in this case). I'm past the heel and nearly to the toe.

They are very pretty. The solid color was a good choice for this pattern. Is there a published pattern for them or is this a personal artistic endeavor?

I think many people have seen the Seine Socks, so I'm just showing progress. I've also posted the #handdyed #handspun blue socks. I'm showing them as an exception to my blocking is silly rules. My 100% longwool and silk blend socks went through the washing machine b4 blocking. #showmeyourknits.
The Seine Socks in blue and white. I love how the cables pop against the stripes both physically and visually. The Ingrid Socks knitted in hand dyed handspun wool and silk blend. The socks survived both wear and a trip through the washing machine. They're on blockers because I felt they actually needed it.
Long wool is just amazing.

We all started with a first sock at some point. There are flat knitted socks (lots of tutorials on YouTube), if you don't mind a seam or two. They might be easier until you get more comfortable with knitting. I've been thinking about trying some, just to see what they're like.

It's so easy to check - a basic Google search... I also get pulled out of stories for similar mistakes and inaccuracies. They might as well have her looking information up on a cell, too...

If you make little squares, you could have a project at the end. It might be fun as an advent project or a me-made-May project.

One of my current WIPs for #WIPWednesday . The pattern is the Seine Socks. I'm really enjoying knitting this first one. I've turned the heel and am working on the gusset decreases. www.ravelry.com/patterns/lib...
A sock being knitted in cobalt and white yarn. Blue and white cables twist along the leg. The cuff and heel are both blue.
