I think many people have seen the Seine Socks, so I'm just showing progress. I've also posted the #handdyed #handspun blue socks. I'm showing them as an exception to my blocking is silly rules. My 100% longwool and silk blend socks went through the washing machine b4 blocking. #showmeyourknits.

The Ingrid Socks knitted in hand dyed handspun wool and silk blend. The socks survived both wear and a trip through the washing machine. They're on blockers because I felt they actually needed it.

A couple of my #knitting WIPs for #showmeyourknits. I've been finishing a test knit, so these have received less attention. I did finish 2 socks and a test knit in the past 3 days, so I am feeling a little better about the large WIP pile, which is larger than these 3. #🧶 #indiedyedyarn

The fidget spinner shawl being knit in handspun combing waste. It's a work as I have yarn to add type project. I now have some TDF spun yarn to add.

This will be the cloudburst T-shirt by Wool and Pines. It's being knit in Farmhouse Silk Blend from very deep in my stash. I'm glad to have found a home for this beautiful yarn.

This is the Connecticut River Scarf and Shawl by Jennifer Esty. It's a free pattern on Ravelry. The yarn is a lovely wool from 3stitches short. I'm really loving working with this yarn and highly recommend both the yarn and the pattern. The yarn is a grey held with a beautiful collection of minis. This is a great pattern to use leftovers or advent minis, etc.
This has been in the WIP rotation for a while because I've been working on it in fits and starts between other projects. The last version of this scarf was done in about 2 weeks.

We cleaned and set up the Kromski wheel today. It's very exciting that we got to use it, too. I found out that there are now jumbo bobbin setups for it, which is also very exciting! I'm working on a spin that I started a bit more than 15 years ago...

Baby items for #showmeyourknits this week. This was knit for a friend's new baby. The pattern is published by Jack Frost yarns, which hasn't been in business for decades.... The pompoms instead of buttons is my innovative. I love them on this sweater.

I started some weaving with my unicorn tail spin. It wasn't thick enough for this looms, so I'm holding it double with some commercial alpaca. The white is a little intense. Maybe my handspun will bleed a little for me....

The skein in variegated pinks and purple is a single which will be for weaving. I'm thinking about holding it with some commercial alpaca that I've had in stash because the loom needs a heavier weight thread.
The brown/ black on the bobbins and the spindle are the Black Welch Mountain again. I'm really enjoying spinning it in this wollen prep. If all goes well, it will be combined with a couple other natural colors into a sweater, at some point. Spindles take a while, at least for me.

Day 22 of #tourdefleece was a shorter day for me. Life intruded. I was able to take Marie outside for some evening spinning, which was lovely. I spun more than I realized, at 24 g and 82 yds of 2-ply. I was spinning carded combing waste. #spinning #greatwheel #🧶

Day 21 of #tourdefleece was spent plying this (for my spindle) giant skein of the unicorn tail yarn. It's yet to be washed, but it's ~210 yds and 43g of 2-ply. So, about fingering and enough, I think, to weave a small shawl. That is for after TDF. #spindle #indiedyedyarn #🧶

Day 20 of #tourdefleece was another slow spinning one. The weather was gorgeous, the raspberries were ripe, and they absolutely are not thornless. The price for my delicious raspberries is uncomfortable spinning for the next couple days. Carding is helping this one muchly. #spindlespun #🧶

Day 18 of #tourdefleece2026 was spinning the unicorn tail fiber. I finished the singles super late last night, so I'll probably ply tomorrow. I'm tempted to make a chain ply because of the fineness of the singles, but I'm not sure I want to lose that much yardage. #spindle #spinning #indiedyedyarn

Hand dyed, hand processed, hand spun singles in purple, pinks, blues, and white. The fiber is a local mystery breed longwool in natural white and synthetic dyed colors mixed with rose fiber. The rose contributed to a lovely shine IRL.

Day 16 of #tourdefleece2026 was full of spinning. I worked on the Black Welch Mountain and on the long wool and rose blend. They are very different spins, though both on #spindle. I tried spinning the BWM from the fold, which is mostly an improvement. #spinning #🧶 #handdyedyarn

Day 10 of #tourdefleece was a light day. I finished the singles for my fractal spin. This wool really needs a rest day. So, I took a look in my stash and decided on a Black Welch Mountain that I bought last fall. It's big at 1/2#, but for the moment I'm excited to start. #spinning #handdyedyarn

Day 8 of #tourdefleece was productive. I wound off the third part of my spin onto a TP tube and started in the 4th and last section. I'm almost 1/2 way through it. I think the colors got a little wonky in one spot. I'm embracing it as I don't think it's going to matter.

Day 4 of #tourdefleece2026 : Life was busy, so less time to spin. I washed the purple and hung it to dry. It's still bleeding color a little, so I might wash it again. I really want to see how it looks dried, first. I worked on the second part of the fractal spin. I've hit the 1/2 point of that.
