forgot to label the first post as //personal. Oops. Sorry.

I don’t recall ever being so lonely in my life. And I love my own company and my own time and being by myself, but that’s a separate thing. I’m talking about that sense of community and belonging. I keep thinking I’ve finally found that only to be shown I don’t and no one gaf about me. it hurts.

but I never get that same consideration in return. I thought I was making friends but everyone just fucking uses me and doesn’t care or even notice when I stop posting or leave. I don’t even have anyone irl. Like my closest irl friend lives over 8hrs away from me... +

I had to complain in one server that everyone gets support except for me in the vent channel. And I was told in a different server that “no one back-reads” so I can’t expect ppl to know what I’m talking about. Like… wtf? I do my best to support ppl, esp those who aren’t as seen or acknowledged … +

talking with one of my closest besties and just feeling so lonely. I join fandom circles or discord servers and think I’m making friends but turns out I don’t. No one has ever given me the effort that I put in for them… +

Boba Fett from Star Wars is one such character beloved for less than what Kairi received. ofc this is before he got his spin-off short tv series The Book of Boba DECADES later. point still stands.

regarding Kairi. it’s valid to critique how she’s written & how little screen time she’s given; it’s valid to simply dislike her as a character without needing a reason. just double-check your critiques & make sure they don’t fall into misogyny, bc male characters have been loved & praised for less.

It's 2026, almost 2027, can we stop talking about Kairi's fear of change as if that is her ONLY defining character trait worth finding compelling?

Stole this from the comments because this shit shouldn't be behind a paywall.

Crucially, the GLOVE has limitations, chief among them that for the device to work effectively and deliver its restraining pain shock, it must come into contact with the subject's bare skin. According to Compliant Technologies, the gloves won't work through dry clothing or thick hair. The gloves will work, however, if the subject is wearing thin, wet clothing, such as soaked T-shirts or blouses. The GLOVE also does not like being dunked in water and will likely be rendered inoperable if this happens.

Twitch's "Allow your channel content to train generative AI models" setting is here and on by default. Go turn that shit off, streamer!! The toggle is under your Settings, then 'Security and Privacy'

please take trans representation as seriously as gay representation. please show the same passion and frustration you do when a gay coded character is assumed/depicted/insisted as straight, when it's a trans coded character assumed/depicted/insisted as cis
