to view it, you have to use the ‘classic invert’ on your phone.

experimenting with inverted images again. my 2024 large format class final project was done with inverted images. i’m looking for something to click with me.

a negative image of actor Misha Collins’ shoulders and back (as in film negative) at 3/4 angle.

i seem to come over here just once a month or so. it’s bc i still live on twitter. i haven’t found a groove here, yet, strong enough to pull me away from the goblin market. anyway, here are some things i’ve been up to

more medium format film randomness. it’s practice, so a lot of the stuff i photograph is meaningless

these are film negatives, so old film look is all they’re ever gonna be. :D

this is maybe trite at this point but it is in your interest to find ways to create things. basically everyone wants you to be consuming nonstop. making stuff, from cooking to photography or whatever, can help you feel more in control. doesn’t even have to be something you share with other people

so, My Favorite Thing is Monsters is WAY more about human monsters than i went in thinking it would be. it’s really good, but not at all what i was expecting. i think it’s great that i went in blind, having only seen the artwork and knowing nothing about the story.

i thought that was the goal of a bunch of his followers; to bring an end to everything so Jesus can come around and fix it or something.

i cannot tell you how deeply both these books are pleasing me.

color image of two books on an orange, black and blue rug. the book on the top is right is dark brown and shows a gold six-fingered hand with a large black number three on it on the cover. the book on the bottom left shows a blue face with red lips looking at the viewer over the title “My Favorite Thing is Monsters”

Look, just have a nice day, all right? All of you. Yeah, even you. Have a day so nice your heart breaks. Have a day so nice it makes you sob, not because you want every day to be like this, but because you want everybody who's never had a day so nice to have what you have right now, instead of you.
